
Ceremony with NJ State Senator Vin Gopal and Assemblywomen Dr. Margie Donlan and Luanne Peterpaul to be followed by a community reception and October Lunch & Learn
SCAN (Senior Citizens Activities Network) will celebrate the official ribbon cutting of its new home at 72 Riverdale Avenue, Monmouth Beach, NJ on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. The ribbon will be cut by NJ State Senator and longtime friend of SCAN, Vin Gopal, along with Assemblywoman Dr. Margie Donlan and Assemblywoman Luanne Peterpaul, Esq. Members of the SCAN Board of Trustees and the Mayor of Monmouth Beach will also be in attendance.
The community and parish community are warmly invited. A short reception will follow the ceremony, along with SCAN’s October Lunch & Learn program. Lunch & Learn attendees are encouraged to arrive early to take part in the ribbon cutting.
“This ribbon cutting marks a fresh chapter for SCAN,” said Mike Ciavolino, Executive Director of SCAN. “After 38 years at Monmouth Mall, we are re-energized by our move to Monmouth Beach. We’re thrilled to open our doors wide, welcome our neighbors in, and expand the programs that keep older adults healthy, active, and connected.”
