Senior Citizens Activities Network (SCAN) Announces Move to the Church of the Precious Blood Parish Center in Monmouth Beach

At the regularly scheduled meeting of the SCAN Board of Directors on JULY 9, 2025, the following
resolution was approved:
Resolved:
WHEREAS the mission of SCAN is to provide older adults with opportunities to sustain their
independence through education, information and referral services; SCAN keeps Seniors Active, Healthy
& Connected.
WHEREAS SCAN’s Benefit Enrollment Center supports the mission of SCAN by connecting our neediest
seniors with benefits that did not know they were entitled to receive such as Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP
and utility assistance.
That the SCAN Board is in full support of a grant proposal from the County of Monmouth, Community
Development Grant Program for FY2026 of $30,000.
The SCAN Board authorizes Michael Ciavolino as the official for signature and Yvonne Emley as the
alternative for signature.
