Join this 9-week class with all art supplies provided and take this journey to learn the fundamentals of art while exploring the benefits of art as we age. Learn to draw in Weeks 1 and 2 by exploring shapes, forms and shading which leads to transforming shapes into objects. Weeks 3 and 4 includes brush techniques, color theory and color mixing. Week 5 covers drawing and the study of a landscape, with the final weeks of class focused on your acrylic painting of the landscape on canvas.
